Jason Anderson subsequently banned for life by Bermuda Cricket Board

The 2015 Champion of Champions cricket match on Sept 12, 2015 between Cleveland County and Willow Cuts was marred by an fighting incident which saw an altercation break out during the match, which involved a bat being swung at another player, a player being tackled to the ground, and then a player kicking another cricket player while he was on the ground.

One player, Jason Anderson, was subsequently banned for life by the Bermuda Cricket Board.

A statement from the BCB said, “Jason Anderson formerly of Cleveland County Cricket Club has been found guilty of a Level 4 2.4.2 of the Code of Conduct: Physical assault of another Player and has been given a life ban from all cricket and any involvement in the game of cricket in Bermuda in any capacity.
